Rokka Family Bike Ride and Picnic

After a one year hiatus due to Covid concerns, Rokka Bike Ride is back! Increased vaccinations and decreased infections have made group activities safer. All ages are welcome. Please note the safety requirements for our ride.

When    Sunday July 11th

Safety  All riders 12 years and older must be fully vaccinated. That means two

weeks after a Moderna or Pfizer second shot, or two weeks after a J&J

single shot. Masking during the ride is encouraged to avoid transmission from oncoming riders who may not be vaccinated.

Please bring your vaccination card so we can confirm your shots.

Where  8383 158th Ave NE, Redmond

Four-story office building adjacent to the Sammamish River Trail.

Meet at the large parking lot on the south side of the building.

Time    Meet around 11:00, finish about 2:00

Route    From Redmond to Bothell and back along the beautiful paved

Sammamish River Trail, about 15 miles round  trip. There are

rest stops along the way. Turn back anytime for a shorter ride.

Ride Type  All ages, level paved bike path. Ride at your own pace. Kids are

especially welcome!

Bring  Vaccine card, helmet, windbreaker, eye protection, sunscreen, lunch, water.

Lunch  Cross over the arched wooden pedestrian trestle when you get to Bothell.

Meet at the park on the other side.
