Rokka Family Bike Ride and Picnic

Sunday June 26 at 11:00

Ride the beautiful Sammamish River Trail

When  Sunday June 26th

Every summer Rokka skiers get together for a bike ride on the family-friendly Sammamish River Trail. This scenic trail is safe, easy and level. Ride fast

or slow, it doesn’t matter.

All ages welcome, so are friends of Rokka!

Where:  8383 158th Ave NE, Redmond

Four-story office building adjacent to the Sammamish River Trail.

Meet at the large parking lot on the south side of the building.

Time: Meet around 11:00, finish about 2:00

Route: From Redmond to Bothell and back along the beautiful paved

Sammamish River Trail, about 15 miles round  trip. There are

rest stops along the way. Turn back anytime for a shorter ride.

Ride Type: All ages, level paved bike path. Ride at your own pace. Kids are

especially welcome!

Bring: Bike, helmet, windbreaker, eye protection, sunscreen, lunch, water.

Lunch: Cross over the arched pedestrian bridge when you get to Bothell.

Meet at the park on the other side. Break for a picnic lunch while we trade

ski stories and what we’re doing to overcome ski withdrawal symptoms!

Biking is a great way to develop agility, balance, endurance, and leg strength so important for skiing. It's also loads of fun with friends and family!
