About the event
Every summer Rokka skiers get together for a bike ride on the family-friendly Sammamish River Trail. Following the river, this scenic trail is a safe, level ride
for all ages. It’s a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
When Sunday June 24
Where 8383 158th Ave NE, Redmond
Four-story office building adjacent to the Sammamish River Trail. Meet at the large parking lot on the south side of the building.
Time Around 11:00
Route From Redmond to Bothell and back along the beautiful paved
Sammamish River Trail, about 12 miles round trip. There are several
rest stops along the way. Turn back anytime for a shorter ride.
Ride Type All ages, easy and level dedicated paved bike path. This is a family bike
ride so ride at your own pace. Kids are especially welcome!
Bring Lunch, water, helmet, windbreaker or vest, eye protection, and sunscreen.
Lunch Cross over the arched wooden pedestrian trestle when you get to Bothell.
(You might see some roosters near the trestle) Meet at the park on the
other side. Backpack your lunch and picnic on the lawn while we tell
ski stories and catch up with summer activities.
Biking is a great way to develop agility, balance, endurance, and leg strength.
It's also loads of fun with friends and family!
